A man stabbed another to death over a petty issue at Zakir Hussain Circle in Raichur on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as 30-year-old Sadik, a resident of Zahirabad, Raichur.

The Sadar Bazaar Police, who rushed to the spot after receiving information, arrested the accused Kareem who is a native of Jani Mohalla in the city.

It is said that a quarrel over eating idli between the deceased and the accused turned ugly following which the accused stabbed the deceased with weapons.

However, the real cause for the incident will be revealed only after investigation is completed.

The police are continuing investigation after registering a case against the accused.
