NEW DELHI: Former England manager Gareth Southgate was in attendance at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Thursday, watching the IPL 2025 clash between Rajasthan Royals and Mumbai Indians.
Southgate, who stepped down as England manager in 2024, was spotted sporting Rajasthan Royals’ special pink jersey during the match.

Put into bat by Rajasthan Royals, Mumbai Indians posted a formidable 217/2, riding on fluent half-centuries from Ryan Rickelton and Rohit Sharma.

Rickelton smashed 61 off 38 balls (7 fours, 3 sixes), while Rohit struck a composed 53 off 36 (9 fours).
The pair added 116 runs in just 11.5 overs, laying a strong platform for MI.
